Jean Perkinson

Jean Perkinson, 71, of Chesterfield, passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2010 at Southside Regional Medical Center. Born in Petersburg, she was the daughter of the late Earl H. and Gladys Toombs Green, and the widow of Billy J. Perkinson. Mrs. Perkinson is survived by four sons, Michael R. Crowder, Richard H. Crowder and wife, Belinda, Steven E. Crowder and wife, Debra all of Matoaca, and Timothy W. Crowder and wife, Elizabeth of Alberta; six grandchildren, Michael R. Crowder II, April G. Gill, Tera R. Crowder, Brandi G. Crowder-Elliott, Stephanie N. Crowder, and Amy J. Poe; seven great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 23, 2010 in the Petersburg Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 3935 S. Crater Road. Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
