Jean Spiers

Jean Adams Spiers, 86, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at Southside Regional Medical Center. Born in Richmond, she was the daughter of the late John H. and Alice Twisdale Adams. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles F. Spiers; and two sisters, Lula Weaver and Dorothy Harvey. Mrs. Spiers was a member of Highland United Methodist Church and the Morning Star Sunday school class. She is survived several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Johnnie & Bob Davis. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 14, 2014 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard with the Reverend Dorothy O'Quinn officiating. Burial will follow in Blandford Cemetery, Petersburg.
