Jeanett Lynn Lau Gattis died November 23, 2017 unexpectedly in a tragic event. Jeanett was 58 years old and full of love and energy, she will be forever in our hearts. Born in Ft. Hood TX July 16, 1959, she attended Colonial Heights High School and was a graduate of the College of William and Mary. Jeanett is preceded in death by her parents (Art and Wilma Lau) and her sister (Leslie Lau); Jeanett died with her daughter Candice L. Kunze. Jeanett leaves behind her youngest child Adam L. Kunze, her sisters Darlene Jacobson, Judith Randolph (Jim), Pam Elmore (Bob), lots of nieces, nephews, grandnieces and nephews, her church family and her very dear friends Jane and Pat Warfle. Grace Lutheran Church was a huge part of Jeanett's life and she was dedicated to God and believed in giving all she could to others both spiritually and monetarily. Jeanett served on Church council and various committees during her membership. Brought up a Lutheran with a German heritage she loved to have a good time with others and entertained often. She will be missed by so many people, especially her son and extended family. A Celebration of Life will be held at Grace Lutheran Church, 13028 Harrowgate Road, Chester, VA 23831 at 11:30 a.m. on December 2, 2017.
