Jeanette Sheffield

Jeanette Walker Sheffield, 76, a native of North Carolina, and a resident of Colonial Heights, passed away on Monday, October 24, 2011 at her residence. She was the widow of Robert E. Sheffield, and the daughter of the late Crawford and Gertrude Roberts Walker. She was a member of Second Chance Baptist Church. Jeanette cared for many children over the years and was loved by many. She is survived by three daughters, Donna S. Daniel and husband, Scott of Colonial Heights, Dianne S. Schlafer and husband, Paul, and Barbara S. Vincent and husband, Michael all of Hendersonville, Tenn.; eight grandchildren, Andy and wife, Sara, Todd and wife, Amanda, Adam, and Ashley Daniel, Brittany Schlafer Conn and husband, Matt, Patrick Schlafer, Ethan and Laura Vincent; great-grandchildren, Abi Grace and Isaac Daniel, Logan and Landon Daniel, Everett and Audrey Conn; sisters, Louise Cliborne, and Sherry Clay; and a brother, William S. Walker. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, October 28, 2011 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, with the Reverend David Prather and the Reverend Richard Todd Daniel officiating. Interment Sunset Memorial Park, Chester.
