Jeanette Young

Jeanette Wynn Young, 87, of Chesterfield, died Monday, January 18, 2010 at Lucy Corr Village. Mrs. Young was born in Petersburg, Virginia and was the daughter of the late Alma Rogers Wynn and Leonard Rogers Wynn. She was the wife, for 68 years, of the late William Lawrence Young Jr. Survivors include one son, Lawrence W. Young and wife, Teresa; two daughters, Lynda Y. Blanks and Teresa Y. Taylor and husband, Stafford; grandchildren, Casey, Nick, Matt, Brooke, Carter, and Bradley; one great-grandson, Logan; two sisters, Alice W. Spain, and Betty W. Hicks; and a brother, Franklin Wynn. A funeral service will take place 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 26, 2010 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, with the Reverend Mary Beth Blinn officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to the Bush Clinton Haiti Fund c/o William J.
