Jeanne Castleberry

Jeanne Marie Castleberry, 62, of Chesterfield, passed away Saturday, September 7, 2013. She was born June 12, 1951. Jeanne was preceded in death by her father, Charles "C.P." Paul Mezera Sr. She was employed by the Commonwealth of Virginia Department of General Services Procurement Services for many years and was a member of the Chesterfield Cheerleader League and the Cheer Challenge Allstars. She is survived by her children, Shannan Castleberry, Claude Castleberry and wife, Kim; grandchildren, Josh, Kaila, Trey and Alexis Castleberry; mother, Joyce M. Bailey; brother, Chuck P. Mezera; sister, Maureen Haake, and numerous family and friends. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 10, 2013 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory 2033 Boulevard with Fr. Donald Lemay officiating. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery, Petersburg, Virginia. The family will receive friends Monday, September 9, 2013 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
