Jeanne Moore Davis, 52, of Colonial Heights, died Friday, April 29, 2011 in Thomas Johns Hospital. A cherished daughter, sister, wife, mother, cousin and community leader that served the local community as a realtor for 15 years and was currently with Napier Realtors. She was an extraordinary woman who led a wonderful life. She is survived by her husband, James Edwin Davis; two sons, James Edwin Davis II and Joel William Davis both of Colonial Heights; her parents, Frederick W. and Mary Hess Moore of Colonial Heights; a sister, Mary Lou Barr and husband, Mike of DeWitt; a brother, William F. Moore and wife, Teresa of Colonial Heights; and numerous nieces, nephews, including special niece, Allison Moore. A celebration of her life will take place at 12:00 noon Thursday, May 5, 2011 in the Colonial Heights Baptist Church, 17201 Jefferson Davis Highway, Colonial Heights with the Reverend Dr. Randall Hahn officiating. The family wishes to thank Dr. James May and staff of the Virginia Cancer Institute, and Dr Nancy Kemeny of the Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and especially the community of Colonial Heights.
