Jeff (JP) Elliott, 50, of Chesterfield, passed away on Friday, October 25, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents, Larry & Saundra Anderson; his maternal grandparents, BT & June Elliott, and his paternal grandparents, John & Jewel Anderson. Jeff was a member of The Heights Baptist Church, and the owner of JP Elliott Masonry, Concrete & Tile LLC. He graduated from Tascosa High School in Amarillo, Texas and Abilene Christian University where he was a member of the Sub-T Social Club. Jeff was an exceptional athlete and had a love for baseball and wrestling. Jeff had a spiritual gift of giving. He was generous to a fault. He was passionate about using his artistic abilities to create beautiful masonry, concrete and tile projects. Jeff loved and was loved by the many people he worked with over the years. Jeff was dedicated to community service. He spent many hours helping restore areas in Historical Petersburg and Richmond, Virginia. Jeff also was a supporter of the Richmond Friends of the Homeless and Massey Cancer Center. He was the most ornery, big hearted man there ever was. He is survived by his wife, Amy D. Elliott; his children, Max Elliott, Molly Elliott and fiancé, Cody Willmarth, and Saundra Elliott; a granddaughter, Cassidy Willmarth; his mother-in-law, Paula Overman; a brother, Larry Elliott; two sisters, Marsha Hughes and husband, Tommy and Debbie Beard and husband, Tom; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews who adored him. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at The Heights Baptist Church, 17201 Jefferson Davis Highway, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834 with the Rev. Dr. Randall Hahn officiating. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 2, 2013 at Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel & Memorial Park, Abilene, Texas with Dr. Jesse Fletcher officiating, burial of ashes to follow. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Monday, October 28, 2013 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard.
