Jefferey Blake Walker, August 2, 1959 - July 3, 2009, a resident of Chesterfield County, passed away peacefully at home, after a courageous lifetime battle with diabetes. Jeff was born and raised on Hickory Road and was a graduate of Matoaca High School. Jeff was a small engine mechanic. He was one of six children born to Dwight M. and Nancy Hartle Walker. Jeff is predeceased by his father, Dwight M. Walker, a brother, David Lee Walker, and beloved daughter, Megan Nicole Walker. Jeff dedicated his life to God by baptism in the Appomattox River in December of 2004. Jeff loved music, fishing, motorcycles, laughing, being with his family, and having fun with his friends. Jeff touched the lives of many people with his smile and generosity. He maintained his trademark sense of humor to the end. Jeff will forever be remembered by his devoted loving sisters, Jodie Walker Pullano and husband, Lance, Kimberly Walker Hughes and husband, John, and Jill Walker Mitchell and husband, Steve; a brother, Mike Walker and wife, Kitty; eleven nephews; two nieces; nine great-nephews; and three great-nieces. There are countless other friends and family whom were blessed to know him. A memorial service will be held 7:00 p.m. Sunday, July 5, 2009 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard. A special "Thank You" to the wonderful people from the Chesterfield County Fire Department who gave such wonderful care to Jeff through the years.
