Jeffery Allen Metosh, 57, of Casselberry, Florida, passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2023. Born February 20, 1966, he was the son of the late Jean Anthony and Barbara Clarke Metosh, and was also preceded in death by his brother, Barry N. Metosh.
Jeffery discovered a passion for welding at a young age. Over the years, he honed his skills and became a true master of the trade. His dedication and expertise were evident in every piece he created. For the last seven years of his career, Jeffery worked closely with his son, Tyler, to establish and grow his fabrication shop. Their partnership not only showcased Jeffery's wealth of experience but also marked the beginning of a family legacy that will endure for generations.
Beyond his work, Jeffery found joy in various aspects of life. He had a passion for cars, spending countless hours meticulously working on them. His love for his family, especially his grandchildren, was immeasurable, and he treasured every moment spent with them.
Jeffery loved kicking back and enjoying his favorite albums, finding comfort and joy in the music that accompanied the chapters of his life.
One of Jeffery's greatest pleasures was found by the water's edge. He had a deep love for the beach, where he could relax and unwind. Swimming became a favorite pastime, providing him with moments of tranquility and reflection.
He is survived by his loving wife, Lura Metosh; children, Tyler (wife, Cheyenne), Sabrina, William (wife, Jessica); grandchildren, Gracelyn, Delilah, Owen, Easton, Haisley; sister, Cathy (husband, Barry); and several nieces, nephews and other extended family members.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, November 13, 2023 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard. Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 12, 2023 at the funeral home.
