Jeffrey Swiney

Jeffrey (Jeff) Allen Swiney 29, of Dinwiddie, died Sunday, January 10, 2010 at John Randolph Medical Center. He was a Sergeant at the Riverside Regional Jail. Jeffery is survived by his wife, Shanta Grier Swiney; daughter; Jetay A. Swiney; son, Jeffrey Allen Swiney Jr.; mother, Connie P. Jones of Sutherland; father, William H. Swiney Jr., of Powhatan; two brothers, William H. Swiney III., of Sutherland, Ryan Swiney, of Chesterfield; grandparents, Edgar A. and Garnetta N. Poe of Colonial Heights. A memorial service will be held 4:00 p.m. Friday, January 15, 2010 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Home and Crematory 2033 Boulevard with the Reverend Marjorie S. Bevans officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends Thursday January 14, 2010 from 7:00-8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
