Jeffrey "Jeff" Allen Jones, 58, of Chester passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 21, 2022. He was born on September 19, 1963, in Charleston, West Virginia to the late Nellie Virginia Starcher Hodges. He was preceded in death by his sisters Patricia Kimbrough, Charlotte Barton, and two brothers.
He is survived by his wife Cheryl B. Parrish, daughter Amanda Bell (Michael), stepson Bruce Parrish Jr., grandsons Chase Bell and Jameson Bell, sisters Catherine Williams and Connie Jones, extended family, and friends. Jeffrey was a passionate man who worked hard but loved even harder. Jeff was a wise man, often bestowing his wisdom to his friends and family and helping those close to him through anything and everything. He was also a strong and proud American through and through. He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, drinking coffee, watching beautiful summer storms, working with his hands on projects around the house, watching his favorite football team (the Forty Niners), watching NASCAR and playing with his dog, Montana. He was a goofy man who loved a great laugh and to see smiles on the faces around him. He wore many “hats” and was proficient in the roles they came with, such as, spouse, father, grandfather, guardian, brother, uncle, coworker, carpenter, plumber, handyman, and so many more. He will forever be missed, but he will live on in all of those he impacted.
