Jeremiah Windom Patrick passed away peacefully at home in his sleep after a courageous and gallant fight against kidney disease. He is survived by his loving father William L Patrick of Chester, his devoted grandmother Helen C. Patrick of Chester, three uncles; Thomas (Joanie), David (Theresa) of Chesterfield and James (Cindy, deceased) of Columbus, Georgia and Aunt, Dale P. Brown (Lou) of Cincinnati, Ohio. Also his cousins; Joy, Kim, Becca, Matthew, April, Hunter and Ashley, many faithful friends, extended family and mother Margaret Rodriguez. He was predeceased by his loving grandfather Thomas W. Patrick. Among his many interests were reading, drawing, music and singing. He sang publicly for many years during his elementary and middle school days. Another abiding interest was history in which he had absorbed Civil War battles and visited their sites. The Alamo was another one that he visited and knew so well. Jeremy was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting and fishing. He especially enjoyed the good times spent in Cumberland with his many hunting buddies. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday September 22, 2012 at Chester Baptist Church, 4317 School Street, Chester, Virginia 23831, with the Reverend Dr. Lloyd Braswell officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. the day of the service at church. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 1622 E.
