Jeremiah Perry Sovocool

Jeremiah Perry Sovocool, 75, of Colonial Heights, passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2024. He was born in Ohio, on March 2, 1949. He was a devoted member of the Highland United Methodist Church in Colonial Heights. Jeremiah served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged in 1974 after 12 years of service. After his military career, he became the “Mac Tools Man,” working as a mechanic for 18 years before retiring. Jeremiah is preceded in death by his wife, Ann C. Sovocool; father, Richard Sovocool; mother, Irene Waton; stepfather, Paul Watson; brothers, Scott Sovocool and Tommy Watson; sisters, Karen Sovocool, and Linda Brown. He left behind his daughter, Melody A. Sovocool; granddaughter, Emilie F. Sovocool; sister, Sandra O’Flanagan; brothers, Arthur Sovocool (Karla) and Michael Sovocool (Terry); sister, Darla Eggelston (Roger); and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held in Jeremiah’s memory at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at the Highland United Methodist Church, 125 E. Westover Avenue, Colonial Heights, Virginia, 23834. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Highland United Methodist Church.
