Jerrilyn Lee Kimes, a longtime resident of Colonial Heights, Virginia passed away on February 8, 2014 at the age of 72 after an extended illness. She was born in Springfield, Ohio the only daughter and eldest of three children born to the late Norman H. Chronaberry and Jean Elizabeth Sergeant Davis. Following high school, Jerrilyn served in the U.S. Marine Corps then became a dedicated employee of American Greeting for 30 years. She is survived by her husband of 50 years Donald; daughter Jill Ann (Kimes) Schreiber; two grandsons, Jackson Louis Schreiber and Nicholas William Schreiber, two brothers Douglas and Daryl Chronaberry. Her love, care, and companionship will be deeply missed by family and friends. A memorial service will be held 10:30 a.m. February 15, 2014 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory 2033 Boulevard. In days following, a memorial service will be held in Springfield Ohio where Jerrilyn will be laid to rest.
