On Wednesday, February 23, 2022, our beloved Jerry Matthew Karousos was granted his angel’s wings. Matthew loved his family deeply and his greatest joy in life was his son. He was a loyal friend that had the ability to see the good in each person he met throughout life. Through his eternal struggles, he fought every day to be the best father, son, brother, uncle, and friend that he could be. Although he left us early, the love he shared will continue to nurture the ones he leaves behind.
He leaves to cherish his memories his beloved son, who he loved so much, Jayson Matthew Karousos; parents, Pete and Shelly Karousos; sister, Mariah Karousos (Patrick Long); nieces, Vivian Karousos, Danielle Long; maternal grandfather, William Paulett (Jeanette); maternal grandmother, Linda Inge; uncle and godfather, George Karousos (Angela); aunt and godmother, Kimberly Hooker (Jeff); cousin, confidant and friend, Taylor Bishop; other cousins, extended family members and many beloved friends.
Matthew was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Gerasimos and Nikki Karousos; maternal grandfather, Bill Inge; maternal grandmother, Lois Paulett.
