Jerry Rodenbo

Jerry Wayne Rodenbo Sr., 62, of Church Road, passed away on Sunday, March 7, 2010 surrounded by his family. He was the son of the late Curtis Lee Rodenbo and Delois Bowman, and was preceded in death by a son Jerry Eugene Rodenbo and a brother, John Rodenbo. Mr. Rodenbo was employed with Virginia Power for 28 years and was a United States Army Veteran. He is survived by his wife, Lillie Dale Rodenbo; his children, Sherry Dale Robbins, Jerry Wayne Rodenbo Jr. and wife, Kadee, and Lisa Michelle Rodenbo; five grandchildren, Jessica Robbins, Dillon, Kendal, Morgan, and Justis Rodenbo; three sisters, Pamela Burnette and husband, Howard, Barbara Beverly, and Shirley Goulder; and one brother, Donald Rodenbo, numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank his niece Bunnie Abernathy for her love and care of Mr. Rodenbo. A memorial service will be held at 4:00pm Thursday, March 11, 2010 in Smyrna Baptist Church, 18725 Carson Road, Dinwiddie, Virginia 23841 with the Reverend Robert L. Rowland III officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the service. Interment private. Arrangements by the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard.
