Jimmie Wayne Davis

Jimmie Wayne Davis, 66, of Colonial Heights passed away on Monday, October 23, 2023. Born on November 23, 1956, he was the son of the late Hal Holmes and Kathleen Purdy Davis, and was also preceded in death by four brothers, Bobby Davis, Hal Davis, Jr., Archie Davis, Leroy Davis; and stepdaughter, Teresa Tuck.

A talented painter and founder of J.W. Davis Painting, Jimmie ran his own business for many years.

Beyond his professional life, Jimmie was happiest at home, especially when surrounded by his cherished grandchildren.

He is survived by his loving wife of over 30 years, Jeanne Davis; two grandchildren, Reese and Ellie Tuck; son-in-law,  Sam Tuck; two sisters, Doris D. Marks (Sam Britt, Jr.), Helen D. Moran (Vincent); two brothers, Roscoe Davis (Rhonda), Richard Davis (Kim); sister-in-law, Linda Cimburke (Tommy); and numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family members.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the National Kidney Associationhttps://www.kidney.org/
