Jimmy L. Ketcham, 70, passed away on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at his home. Born September 18, 1947 in Snow Hill, North Carolina, he was the son of the late James Lockwood Ketcham and Evelyn Dene Fowler (Sutton), and was raised in Matoaca. Jimmy was a proud United States Army veteran. He worked in sales for Columbia Beauty Supply, now known as Salon Centric, for over 30 years. He was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is survived by his loving wife, Patsy Joyce Ketcham; son, Michael Ketcham; step-children, Everett Eads (Tammy), Shane Eads (Annette), Krista DeVauld (Danny), Amanda Kozak (Tommy); grandchildren, Delaney, Madalyn, Austin, Abigail, Clinton, Kyle, Dustin, Gracie, and Emma; his sister, Chris Michaud (Bob); and his beloved dog, Molly. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, with Mrs. Sarah Zammett officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester.
