Joan Armentrout

Joan Bennett Armentrout Well done, good and faithful servant, Joan Bennett Armentrout, 85, of Chester, was called to her heavenly home on Saturday, June 30, 2018. Born June 1, 1933, in Cumberland Maryland, she was the daughter of the late George Bennett and Agnes Maphis Smith. Mrs. Armentrout was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, and a retired Secretary with the Brown & Williamson Tobacco Company Engineering Department, with 17 years of service. She is survived by her husband, Sterl "Sonny" Armentrout; son, Steve Armentrout (Leura Kay); daughters, Viki Armentrout (Roxy) and Kimi Kohlhepp (Chuck); grandsons, Christopher Kohlhepp (Christine) and Thomas Kohlhepp (Candace); granddaughters, Amanda Spencer (Michael) and Andrea Beville (Daniel); great grandchildren, Layne Spencer, Madeline Kohlhepp, Lana Spencer, Maddox Kohlhepp and Kaydee Beville. A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Friday, July 6, 2018 in Western Heights Baptist Church, 24416 Cox Road, North Dinwiddie, Virginia 23803 with the Reverend Jonathan Dundalow officiating. Entombment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park, S. Prince George, Virginia 23805. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, July 5, 2018 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834.
