Joan Godwin

Joan Grosch "JoAnn" Godwin, 79, of Colonial Heights passed away Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at Southside Regional Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Paul and Pearl Little Grosch, and the widow of Paul Osborne Godwin Jr. Mrs. Godwin is survived by two sons; Paul Osborne Godwin III and wife, Gloria, and John Allen Godwin; a daughter, Patricia Godwin Sutton and husband, Kevin; four grandchildren, Cody Ray Sutton, Justin Paul Sutton, Erica Joy Godwin and Jonathan Paul Godwin; two great-grandchildren, Peyton Sutton, and Kennedy Sutton; one sister, Peggy Grosch Kava and husband, Paul; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 12, 2013 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory 2033 Boulevard, with the Reverend Robert W. Livesay III., officiating. Interment to follow in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George County.
