Joan Scheepers

Joan Jablonski Scheepers, 77, of Chester, passed away Saturday, December 5, 2020. Mrs. Scheepers retired as a Fundraising Coordinator from Virginia Diner and loved scrapbooking, crafting, and taking care of her family. She was preceded in death by her mother, Nellie Weaver Jablonski. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Daniel J. Scheepers; children, Geoffrey Scheepers, Susan Cox, and Katie Blankenship; grandchildren, Daniel Wentworth, Blake Cox, Sammie Cox, Brandon McGregor, Aimee Blankenship, and beloved grand-dog, Stretch; great-grandchildren, Ella and Dillon Wentworth, and Alice and Lucy Wentworth; sister, Judy Jeroy and her husband Harry; and nieces, Amy Holmes and Dierdre Hurst. A visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834. Following visitation, guests are invited to a reception at the family home.
