Joann Robinson

JoAnn W. Robinson, 65, of Chester, passed away on Friday, December 19, 2014. Born in Chesterfield, she was the daughter of the late Paul M. Wilkins Sr. and Florence Gettings Wilkins, and was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Wilkins Jr. Mrs. Robinson was a member of Ivey Memorial United Methodist Church, a volunteer for the Ivey Memorial UMC Food Pantry, and a retired Supervisor with the Chester United States Postal Service, with 31 years of service. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Jerry W. Robinson; two daughters, Tammy Robinson and Angel Greer and husband, Greg; four grandchildren, Cassie, McKlayne, Trinity and Zach; and a beloved niece, Cindy Breedlove. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, December 27, 2014 at Ivey Memorial United Methodist Church, 17120 Jefferson Davis Highway, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834 with the Reverend Nathan Decker officiating.
