Joanne Heckel

JoAnne M. Heckel, 61, of S. Chesterfield, VA passed away on Monday, August 29, 2016 at her residence. Born in Petersburg, VA she was the daughter of the late Joseph Mitchell and Virginia Spencer Hillbrant; and was also preceded in death by a daughter, Christie Anne Heckel; and a brother, Jimmy Mitchell. She is survived by her loving husband, Stephen W. Heckel; one son, Stephen R. Heckel; two brothers, Kenny and Ronnie Mitchell; and her mother and father-in-law, Richard and Winifred Heckel. All services will be private. The family is being served by the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard.
