Joanne Vohun

Joanne Menster Vohun, 58, of Disputanta, passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2011 at MCV Medical Center. Born in Petersburg, she was the daughter of the late Frances Moody Menster and Earl Jacob Menster Sr. Mrs. Vohun was a Registered Nurse with HealthSouth Rehabilitation Center in Petersburg. She is survived by her husband, Thomas A. Vohun Jr.; her children, Peggy J. Powroznick and husband, Brian S., Thomas A. Vohun III and wife, Bobbie Jo, Christina M. Vohun, and Angela K. Vohun; five grandchildren, Skye Powroznick, Jaylan Powroznick, Cameron Vohun, Kensley Vohun, and Troy Vohun; a sister, Katherine M. Fender and husband, Harold B. Fender Jr.; a niece, Amanda Fender; a nephew, Michael Fender; aunts, uncles and cousins. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 14, 2011 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard. Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George. The family will receive friends from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
