Joanne Williams

Joanne Andrews Williams, 67, of Chesterfield, passed away on Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at Southside Regional Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Joseph Hudson Andrews. She was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Maude M. Williams; father-in-law, Leonard R. Williams Sr.; and brother-in-law, Tracy E. Williams. Joanne retired from Southside Regional Medical Center as the Assistant Director of Medical Records. She is survived by her husband, Leonard R. Williams Jr.; son, Leonard R. Williams III of Chesterfield; daughter-in-law, April M. Williams of Chesterfield; two grandchildren, David Joseph Williams and wife, Daphne, Cody R. Williams and fiancée, Samantha Renee Nash all of Chesterfield; her mother, Bernice M. Andrews of Petersburg; two great-grandchildren, Erica Lorraine Williams and Connor R. Williams; a sister, Carole A. Blair and husband, David of Chesterfield; brothers-in-law, David Williams and wife, Alice, Charles Williams and wife, Mary all of Prince George; sisters-in-law, Nancy Lamm and husband, Charlie of Petersburg and Yvonne Williams of Prince George; and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 26, 2012 in the Petersburg Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 3935 S. Crater Road with the Reverend David Prather officiating. Interment Southlawn Memorial Park Prince George. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at the funeral home.
