Joe Story Jr.

Joe B. Story Jr., 64, of Ettrick, passed away on Monday, October 14, 2013 in Phoenix, Arizona. He was born on May 22, 1949, the son of the late Joe Bennie Story Sr. and Mary Octavia Furgerson Story. Mr. Story was a United States Army Vietnam Veteran, and a member of the Petersburg Fraternal Order of Eagles #882. He is survived by a brother, James Story of Colonial Heights; a sister, Betty Bowe and husband, Linwood of Colonial Heights; two daughters, Cindy M. Hooker of Dinwiddie and Alpha Sunshine Flamiano; and five grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 18, 2013 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard with the Reverend Bob Lamb officiating. Interment will follow in Ettrick Cemetery, Ettrick, Virginia.
