Joel Forehand Sr.

Joe W. Forehand Sr., 66, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2009 at Retreat Hospital. He was the son of the late Elisha J. and Martha Jenkins Forehand. He is survived by his wife, Cynthia J. Forehand; children, Carol Carden and husband, Ricky of Hopewell, Wendy Black of Hopewell, Joel W. Forehand Jr. of Chesterfield, Wesley Childress of Henrico, Sandra Bartlebaugh of Matoaca, and Andrew Forehand of Colonial Heights; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday, September 13, 2009 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard with a prayer service by Reverend Dr. Ronald W. Malbrough Sr. at 4:00 p.m.
