John "J.T." Thomas Ingram, 28, of Chesterfield, Virginia, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 18, 2016 in East Rutherford, New Jersey after attending a Miami Dolphins football game with his father. Born in Hopewell, Virginia, J.T. was a warm hearted and devoted fan of the Miami Dolphins and was known for his amazing sense of humor and calm nature. A strong animal lover and devoted father, he was known among family and friends as a person whom loved all and was loved by all. J.T. was also a member of the Sigma Alpha Kappa Fraternity at Ferrum College where he studied and earned his Bachelors' Degree in Criminal Justice. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Levern Joyner and grandmother Catherine Ingram. J.T. is survived by his loving wife, Katie Ingram; his daughter, Jessa Ingram; his mother and father, Terri and John Ingram; sisters, Tara Clark and husband, Bobby and their two daughters, Brooklyn and Emma; Augusta Ackerman and husband, Lin and their two daughters, Breannah and Molly; grandmother, Doris Joyner; grandfather, George Ingram, mother and father in-law, Pat and Scott Collins; brother in-law, Jimmy Collins; sister in-law, Amy Collins, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. A funeral mass will be held 3:00 p.m. Thursday, December 22, 2016 at St. Ann Catholic Church 17111 Jefferson Davis Highway S. Chesterfield, Virginia 23834 with Fr. Danny Cogut as Celebrant. Interment will be Private. The family will receive friends Thursday from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family for Baby Jessa Ingram.
