John Kcraget Sr.

John O. Kcraget, Sr., 86, of Colonial Heights passed away at his residence surrounded by his family. Born December 19, 1929, he was the son of the late George K and Minda A. Kcraget, and was also preceded in death by his sisters, Tina Houle and Margaret Hall; and brothers, William and George Kcraget. Mr. Kcraget was a member of Covenant Bible Fellowship in Petersburg. He served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He loved working in his garden, enjoyed time spent with his family, and was a devout man of God. He is survived by his daughters, Sherry K. Trayer, Deborah K. Wolfrey and husband, Raymond, Barbara K. Brooks and husband, Jeff; son, John O. Kcraget, Jr.; step-son, Michael Munford; 9 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; brother, Charles Kcraget and wife, Linda; sisters, Natalie Osborne and Dorothy K. Morgan; and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 29, 2016 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard. Interment to follow in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester.
