John Joseph "Johnny" Keesler, 47, of Chesterfield, was suddenly called home to be with the Lord on Aril 16, 2013 after a car accident. He was born on September 13, 1965 in Portsmouth, Virginia, and is preceded in death by his father, Thomas James Keesler Sr. Johnny loved life and lived each day to the fullest. An avid fisherman, he was often found aboard the fishing boat, Sally T. Left to celebrate his life are his soul mate, Paula Choiniere; children, David Choiniere, Toni Lynn Echols and husband, Charles, Brandy French and second father to Chauntel and Kevin Taft; seven grandchildren; his mother, Evelyn Alcorn Keesler; a brother, Thomas James Keesler Jr. and wife, Maria; two sisters, Lisa Doughtie and husband, James and Dawn Helton and husband, Kevin; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 22, 2013 in St. Ann Catholic Church, 17111 Jefferson Davis Highway, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834 with Fr. Lou Ruoff, Celebrant. Interment to follow in St. Ann Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6:00 p.m. Sunday at church.
