John Martin

Retired U.S. Army Lt. Col. John L. Martin returned home May 11, 2010. He was born and raised in Atlantic City, N.J., and was the son of John and Lola Martin. He is survived by his wife, Mary; children, John, Samuel, Patricia, Michelle, Guy, Amy; 17 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 14, at St. Joseph Catholic Church,Petersburg. Funeral arrangements by the Colonial Heights Chapel of E.
