John Pond Jr.

John W. Pond Jr., 71 of Colonial Heights, died December 1, 2009 at Southside Regional Medical Center. He was the son of the late John W. Pond Sr., and Madeline Strickland Pond. Mr. Pond was a United States Marine Veteran. John was an employee of the Colonial Heights Food Lion Store. He was a life member of the Marine Corps Association, member of the American Life League, American Legion Post 141 and the Catholic League. John is survived by a special friend Judith M. Pond of Colonial Heights, and many other friends. Funeral services will be Private. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Colonial Heights Chapel of E.
