John Sinkiewicz

John Andrew Sinkiewicz, 81, of Colonial Heights went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 29, 2021. He was born in Petersburg, Virginia on August 1, 1940, the son of the late John Stanley and Ruth Traylor Sinkiewicz.

He was a member of Life Church (formerly Colonial Heights Assembly of God), and held various positions with the Virginia Department of Highways and the City of Petersburg, where he retired as director of traffic engineering and transportation. John is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Sinkiewicz; daughter, Lori Steger; sons, Lee and Kent; and four grandchildren; Kristin, Thomas, Henry, and Eve.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 2, 2021 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834. Interment will be private. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Condolences may be registered at www.ealvinsmall.com .
