MAJ Johnny Thomas Jr. USA (ret.), 60, of Prince George, passed away on Monday, July 7, 2014 at the Medical College of Virginia. He was born January 26, 1954 in South Carolina to the late Johnny Thomas Sr. and Charlotte Adams Thomas. Mr. Thomas is survived by his wife, Colleen Thomas; sons, Jonathan Thomas, Christopher Thomas, Alexander Thomas, T.J. Thomas, and Tony Thomas; a daughter, Patrice Thomas; six grandchildren; a brother, Curtis Thomas; two sisters, Armeco Thomas and Willie Mae Thomas; several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 12 noon, Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at the Colonial Heights Baptist Church, 17201 Jefferson Davis Hwy., Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834 with full military honors and the Reverend Mike Osborne officiating. Interment will be private in Virginia Veterans Cemetery at Amelia. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E.
