Joleene Eldridge

Joleene Zelma Eldridge, 85, of Colonial Heights, Virginia passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2016. Born on September 15, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Perry D. and Grace L. Payne, and was also preceded in death by her husband, John Tipton Eldridge, Sr. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Colonial Heights, and the former proprietor of Expanding Novelty Shop in Pickwick for many years. She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Michael; and her son, John Tipton Eldridge, Jr. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 4, 2016 in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George, Virginia, with the Reverend Fred Adkins officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday night, August 3, 2016, from 7:00-8:30 p.m. at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E.
