Jonathen Burton

Jonathen Gray Burton, 25, of Dinwiddie, passed away at his home on Sunday, April 30, 2017. He was employed as a supervisor at JBT AeroTech and a member of Smyrna Baptist Church in Dinwiddie and the Charles City Dirt Riders. He was a former member of the Prince George JROTC, and independently trained as an MMA fighter. John is survived by his son, Jonathen Gray Burton, Jr.; his loving mother, Leslee Burton; his dad, R. "Jody" Burton (Kelly); his father, Edward Warner (Connie); his devoted fiancé, Caleigh Atkins and her mother, Spring Atkins; sisters, Karleigh and Morgan Burton, McKenzie, and Leeanna; brothers, Josh Smith, Corey, Cody, Owen, and Evan; grandparents, Ralph and Diane Burton, Joyce Dixon, William Wilson (Mary), and Bunny Amendt; great-grandparents, Jack and Betty Kingery, Frances Barr, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, May 8, 2017 at Smyrna Baptist Church, 18971 Carson Road, Dinwiddie, Virginia, 23841, with Reverend Dr. Robert Rowland officiating.
