Joseph Jasper

Joseph Nicholas Jasper, 54, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Thursday, September 11, 2014 at his home. He was the son of the late Charles Allen Sr. and Evelyn Joyce Jasper of Chester. Nick graduated from Thomas Dale High School in 1978 and served for a term in the United States Navy. He was a member of Ivey Memorial United Methodist Church. He is survived by his two brothers, William Allen Jasper and wife, Carol of Jacksonville, Florida and Charles Allen Jasper Jr. of Prince George; and two sisters, Evelyn Ross and husband, Allen and Mary Kay Hornberger and husband, Steve, both of Chester. He also had 6 nieces and nephews who he adored and they fondly called him "Uncle Buck." A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 27, 2014 in Sunset Memorial Park, 2901 W. Hundred Road, Chester, Virginia 23831. Arrangements by the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard.
