Joseph Perkinson

Joseph D. Perkinson, 77, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2019. Born on May 4, 1941 in Petersburg, he was the son of the late William and Helen Jessup Perkinson. He was preceded in death by his brothers, William Perkinson, Charles Perkinson and Percy Archer. Mr. Perkinson was a U. S. Navy veteran, and a member of the Colonial Heights American Legion Post #284. He was a retired maintenance machinist for Brown & Williamson Tobacco Company and Western Electric. He is survived by his wife, Flora M. Perkinson; son, Scott Perkinson (Kristen); daughter, Jennifer P. Pickral (Mike); and a sister, Gloria Paesani (Sy). Funeral Services will be private.
