Joseph Traylor

J. Owen Traylor, 78, of Chesterfield, passed away on Sunday, February2, 2014 at his residence. Born in Petersburg, he was the son of the late Earl J. and Aretta Andrews Traylor. He was a member of the Chesterfield Community Church, a retired Field Engineer with C&P Telephone and later worked for AutoRent. He is survived by his wife, Geraldine Sirry Traylor; three daughters, Patricia Traylor Kunze and husband, Frank of Williamsburg, Lisa Traylor Norton of Kernersville, North Carolina, and Dina Traylor Milliner and husband, Douglas of Chesterfield; four grandchildren, Scott Kunze of Virginia Beach, Daniel Kunze of Williamsburg, Taylor and Isaac Desmond both of Chesterfield. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 6, 2014 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard with the Reverend Gale Kirkman officiating. Burial will follow in Blandford Cemetery, Petersburg.
