Josephine Moore

Josephine Mary Moore, 86, of Colonial Heights, died Monday, August 10, 2009. She was the widow of James W. Moore Sr., and the daughter of the late Charles Mezera Sr. and Frances Starek Mezera. She was a member of St. Josephs Catholic Church. Mrs. Moore is survived by two sons, James Wesley Moore Jr. and wife, Sheila of Chester and David William Moore of Colonial Heights; daughters, Mary Elizabeth Wagner and husband, John of Rapid City, North Dakota and Marilyn Marie Tench and husband, Wave of Colonial Heights; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 12, 2009 in St Josephs Catholic Church, 151 W. Washington Street, Petersburg, Virginia 23803, with Father Steve Antes and Father Bob Spencer as celebrants. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, Petersburg. The family will receive friends one hour prior to Mass at the church. Flowers are welcome or memorial contributions may be made to St. Josephs Catholic Church.
