It is with overwhelming sadness that we announce the passing of Josiah Jameson Ur, age 3, on June 18, 2024. Born March 27, 2021, Josiah brought incredible joy and light to everyone who knew him during his brief but unforgettable time on earth.
Josiah was a whirlwind of energy and laughter, always running around and making a mess, as any spirited toddler would. His adventurous spirit knew no bounds; he approached each day with curiosity and excitement, exploring the world around him with wide-eyed wonder. His beautiful laugh was infectious, a pure expression of the boundless joy he felt in every moment.
Josiah was also known for his heartwarming hugs and cuddles. Whether he was seeking comfort or giving it, his embrace was a source of love and warmth for his family. His presence was a blessing, and he will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him.
Josiah and his family are members of Kingsland Baptist Church, where they found a supportive and loving community. The prayers and support from their church family have been a source of strength during this difficult time.
Josiah is survived by his loving parents, Zachery and Elsa Ur; siblings, Maddy, Abby, A.J., Gabe; paternal grandparents, Robert and Valeria Ur; maternal grandparents, Juan Cazun and Maria Lima; aunts and uncles, Deysi Cazun, Edwin Cazun, Taran Ur and wife, Mariah; and other extended family members.
