Josie Collins

Josie Marie Collins, 76, of Petersburg, passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2019. Born on September 16, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Rudolph J. and Ercell Miller Elkins. Mrs. Collins was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Collins; daughter, Tina Hall; son, Robert "Bo" Collins; and siblings, Penny, Eugene, Robert, Charles and George. She is survived by a son, James Collins; grandchildren, Chris Poulson (Jessica), Ashley Barnes (Travis), Jadé Hall, Megan Hall, Steeler Collins; great-grandchildren, Jaxson, Bryson, William, and Camden; siblings, Gerald Elkins, Patty Witt, Dorothy Elkins, and Vickie McPhearson. A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at Southlawn Memorial Park, 1911 Birdsong Road, S. Prince George, Virginia 23805. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, at the Crater Road Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 3935 S.
