Josie Moore Landers

Josie M. Landers, 90, of S. Chesterfield, passed away Saturday, June 17, 2023 at her residence. She was born February 2, 1933 to the later Charles Joseph and Clara Estelle Dobbs Moore, Josie was preceded in death by her husband Ernest Clifton Landers, son, Steven Wayne Landers, three sisters, Shirley Moore Cole, Brenda Peyton Blaha and Nettie Moore Mason. She was a member to the TOPS Club for many years. Josie is survived by her son, Michael J. Landers, daughter-in-law, Bobbie Landers, sisters, Jackie Peyton Graham, Edna Chilton; brother, Wilbur Peyton III; and numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family members. A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 21, 2023 in Sunset Memorial Park 2901 West Hundred Road Chester, Virginia 23834 with the Reverend David Prather officiating. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in honor of Josie to your local SPCA.  Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Colonial Heights Chapel of E.
