Joy Pearson

Joy Wade Pearson, 69, of Prince George, passed away on Monday, March 7, 2016 at her residence. Born in Petersburg Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Terry and Orpha Ulrey Wade. Mrs. Pearson retired as a telephone operator working at FT. Lee for many years. She is survived by her loving husband, Donald Lee Pearson Sr.; daughters, Jolli Runion and husband, Hugh of Blackstone, Terri L. Weaver and husband, Mike of Amelia; grandchildren, Allen Varnier of Petersburg, Tedi Jo Runion and Boo Runion both of Blackstone; a brother, Ralph Wade of Mechanicsville. The family will receive from 4-5:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Home & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard 23834. Services will be private.
