Joyce Ann Robbins Davis, 80, of Colonial Heights, VA passed away on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at Sunflower Gardens Assisted Living, North Prince George. Born in Owensboro, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Homer and Bertha Goyne Robbins and widow of Thomas Allen Davis. Joyce retired after 30 years as teacher with the Colonial Heights School System and was a member of the Colonial Heights Baptist Church. Mrs. Davis is survived by her daughter, Cyndi Perkins and husband, Scott of Palmetto, FL; a son, Todd Allen Davis and wife, Terry of Summerville, SC; grandchildren, Ryan Perkins and Erin Perkins; brothers Allen Robbins and wife, Linda of Texas, David Robbins and wife, Margaret, Gene Robbins and wife, Janice and a sister, Alice Johnson all of Kentucky; and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 31, 2017 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Home and Crematory 2033 Boulevard with the Reverend Michael Osborne, officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester, VA. The family will receive friends from 3-4:30 p.m. on Sunday July 30, 2017 at the funeral home.
