Joyce Belcher

Joyce V. Tucker Belcher, 88, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Monday, November 1, 2010 at Southside Regional Medical Center. Born in Lignite, Virginia she was the daughter of the late Edgar S. and Grace Moore Toler, the widow of Kenneth Belcher, and was preceded in death by her siblings, Margaret, Faye, Garland, and Dorothy. Mrs. Belcher retired from Levi Strauss with 23 years of service. She is survived by her children, Frances Taliferro and husband, Wayne of Salem, Lawrence Tucker and wife, Jo Ann of Colonial Heights, Brenda Drinkwater of Richmond, and David Tucker and wife, Teresa of Richmond; 7 grandchildren, Curtis, David Andrew, Michael, Jessica, Chappel, Blake, and David Kyle; five great-grandchildren; and sisters, Ruby, Ruth, Ellen, and Becky. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 4, 2010 in Lakeview Cemetery, Blackstone, Virginia with the Reverend Franklin Mills officiating.
