Joyce Daulton

Joyce L. Daulton, 83, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Sunday, October 26, 2014. Born in Petersburg, she was the daughter of the late Hinton and Ethel Daniel Lanier, and was preceded in death by a brother, Danny Lanier. Mrs. Daulton was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church, and a retired Procurement Officer with Bellwood. She is survived by her children, Kathy T. Brown and husband Bruce of Dinwiddie, Wayne Traylor and wife Jennelle of Chester, and J.J. Daulton of Colonial Heights; two granddaughters, Caitlin Tippett and husband Neil, and Kelsey Traylor; two step-grandsons, Jeff & Justin Brown; a brother, Malvin Lanier and wife Dorothy of Chesterfield; nephews, Allen, Keith & Richard Lanier; and a niece, Reneé Williamson. A Funeral Service will be held at 12 Noon Thursday, October 30, 2014 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard with the Reverend James Blankenship officiating. Burial will follow in Blandford Cemetery, Petersburg. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at the funeral home.
