Joyce Lumpkin

Joyce Anne Jenkins Lumpkin, 72, of Chesterfield, passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2009 at MCV Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Mary Virginia Quinn Jenkins and Thomas W. Jenkins Jr. Mrs. Lumpkin retired from the VDOT as a Secretary. She is survived by her husband, Paul L. Lumpkin Sr.; a son, Paul "Lennie" Lumpkin Jr. of Chester; a daughter, Lisa Jubran and husband, Kahled of Chesterfield; a brother, Thomas W. Jenkins III and wife, Brenda of Bridgewater; six grandchildren, Daniel, Trey, Melany, and Ashley Lumpkin, Alia and Jessica Jubran; one great-granddaughter, Alissa Kidd; two nieces, Tracie Jenkins of Swansboro, North Carolina, and Denise Marshall of Palmyra; and a nephew, Thomas W. Jenkins IV of Tokyo, Japan. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E.
