Juanita W. Fisher, 86, of Dinwiddie County, passed away on Friday, November 12, 2010, at Henrico Doctors' Hospital, Richmond, Virginia. Mrs. Fisher was a native of Middlesex County, Virginia, and the daughter of the late Wallace J. and Evelyn Chalmers White. She was a member of Western Heights Baptist Church, an original member of the church building committee, and had retired after 27 years of service as a secretary of Brown and Williamson Tobacco Co. She was a matron at the Virginia Methodist Children's Home, Richmond. Mrs. Fisher is survived by her husband of sixty years, Richard C. Fisher Sr.; two sons, John G. Fisher and wife, Donna K. of Quinton, Virginia and Richard C. Fisher Jr. of Dinwiddie; four grandchildren, Michael Fisher, Matthew Fisher, Richard Fisher III, and Paige Fisher; one sister, Shirley Higdon of Richmond; two brothers, Virgil White of Richmond, and Macey White Sr. of Hartfield, Virginia. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 16, 2010 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, with Reverend Jonathan Dundalow officiating. Entombment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
